In August 2014, the municipal dental services of Vejle in East Jutland opened the doors to Denmark’s largest dentistry and orthodontics clinic. Danish Healthcare Design were charged with providing the equipment for the large assignment consisting of 20 treatment rooms and 12 orthodontics clinics commanding a space of more than 1400 square metre.
The dental services are located in the newly erected health centre designed by Arkitema, with consulting by Cowi. The entire building covers no less than 20,000 square metre, housing also the school of nursing and several other institutions.
