With the ST 440, Danish Healthcare Design has developed the birthing chair for the future. A chair adapted to the midwives’ and – not least – the birthing women’s requirements. The chair comes equipped with an extra-thick memory foam cushion. The ST 440 is furthermore available for manual control from both sides, allowing the midwife to work from any position. When not in use, the manual controls may be placed on the guide rails. The ST 440’s three joysticks enable the midwife to control the chair with her feet.
The chair comes with swivel fittings for the leg supports to be slid away beneath the chair.
A wide range of colours is available for the cushion.
